Abby Broyles was born in 1990. She is challenging Senator James Inhofe in the race for Oklahoma’ Senate seat.
Abby Broyles is an attorney, former television reporter and newscaster. Broyles worked as a reporter, anchor and on-air host for Oklahoma City television station KFOR, an NBC affiliate, from 2014 until 2019, when she announced her bid to represent Oklahoma in the U.S. Senate.
Prior to that, she had worked as a show anchor at KSBI-TV, news reporter at KWTV, and at KYTX CBS19. In 2019, Broyles finished her J.D. program at the Oklahoma City University School of Law. She passed the bar exam and opened her own practice in Oklahoma City.
The Democratic primary in Oklahoma took place on June 30, 2020. Broyles won the primary with over 60% of the vote.
